MENU ONBOARD

The chef onboard is known for being a whiz in the kitchen who will effortlessly create mouth watering traditional Kerala cuisine just for you. The pure ethnic cuisine served in the houseboat is a specialty of Evergreen Tours and special care is taken to provide clean, good quality atmosphere and high quality crockery and glassware are used on the boat.

Welcome to a cuisine enriched with exotic tropical fruits, vegetables, cereals, fish and chicken garnished with the distinctive aroma of pepper, cardamom, chillies, and cloves-spices.

Lunch : Boiled rice/raw rice, sambar, veg.thoran, vegetable fry, fish fry/ vegetable dish for vegetarians, salad, crud, pickle, papad, payasam & seasonal fruits

Tea Time: Tea / Coffee & snacks

Dinner : Chappati, chicken curry/fry / Vegetable dish for vegetarians, boiled rice/raw rice, Veg. curry, salad, vegetable fry, seasonal fruits

Breakfast: Bread + butter + jam, eggs to order, + Kerala breakfast dishes (Appam&stew or, Puttu&Kadala Curry) coffee, tea & seasonal fruits

Additional menu items (Continental, Chinese, North Indian etc) arranged on prior request.
Water : Mineral water bottle (1 litre) served onboard. Soft drinks & other beverages available onboard

Evergreen Houseboats are of excellent construction with luxurious furnishing and in top cruising
worthy condition.
Clean, good quality linen, blankets, towels etc. and high quality crockery and glassware are used
on the boat.
Menu served onboard Evergreen Houseboats is excellent and exotic.
Excellent reading materials and music & sound systems are provided onboard.
Complying with all safety rules and regulations. Adequate numbers of life buoys, life jackets and
fire buckets are provided in all house boats.
Houseboats have all required valid licenses from various authorities.
Logbooks and tourist records are maintained and updated regularly.
Experienced staff in uniform, conversant in English mans the Houseboat
Environment friendly practices are implemented and plastics are strictly not used in boats.
